On Friday, June 23, Dave Grohl’s 17-year-old daughter Violet Grohl joined her father on stage at the Foo Fighters at the 2023 Glastonbury Festival. She seems to be following in her father’s footsteps.
Violet accompanied her father on stage at the 2023 Glastonbury Festival, performing a song from the band’s latest album, “But Here We Are”.
Dave introduces his daughter, saying, “My favorite singer in the world.” “It’s a song I wrote for my mother, Violet’s grandmother. This is ‘Show Me How.”
When the song ended, Dave screamed, “That’s my girl.” On 16 June in Pelham, AL Violet Grohl previously performed the same song with her dad Dave Grohl
Dave Grohl has three girls with Jordan Blum and the eldest is Violet. Dave’s wife and all three daughters attend the 2023 Grammys. It appears that at least two of Dave’s daughters love music as much as their father.
Not only has Violet Grohl joined her father on stage, but his youngest daughter, Harper, has also performed on stage with Dave at age 14. In 2018, Harper joined her father on stage at a benefit concert, where she and her father sang “The Sky Is a Neighborhood”.
Dave Grohl has been candid about how proud he is to be a father. In a 2021 interview on “Today”, He said he loved singing and talking to Violet right from the start before she was born
He said, “It feels weird to be sitting there talking to someone’s stomach and saying, ‘Hi! I can’t wait to meet you. ‘
” But his efforts paid off when he held his daughter for the first time. “I got right in her face and I said, ‘Hey, Violet, it’s me.’ And he stopped yelling,” he recalled. “We’ve been like this ever since.”
