Reed and Somerhalder married in 2015 just six months after they started dating and they together welcomed their first child daughter on 25 July 2017. After that, the couple welcomed a baby boy, revealed on June 29 by her Instagram Story.
“A few weeks ago we welcomed our son on what can only be described as one of the most beautiful days of my life,” the “Sleepy Hollow,” Nikki Reed wrote Over an image of herself with the baby, whose face is not visible in the post
“Born at home in the water and surrounded by so much love, in an instant my heart doubled in size,” the new mom of two revealed.
Nikki Reed noted that she has “very strong boundaries with social media, especially when it comes to children and what I choose to put out into the world.” That’s why, she said,
“I wanted to share first so I can say thank you so much in advance for honoring those boundaries, and for sending positivity, kindness, and LOVE.”
She thanks the doctor for “helping to gently guide this sweet boy into the world.”
In January they confirmed pregnancy and Somerhalder posted on Instagram that “All I’ve ever wanted from the time I was a young boy was to have a big family.
