On July 10, Cardi B and Offset celebrated the fifth birthday of their daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus while reflecting on how fast the years have passed in heartfelt Instagram Stories tributes.
“My baby is already 5 🥹,” Cardi B posted an old image of herself while FaceTiming her daughter when she was a little child. The “Bodak Yellow” singer followed up her cute picture of a young Kulture with another one, this time with the caption, “Wow like my baby girl.”
Offset went in a similar direction. His daughter Kulture was first featured in a newborn photo with the message, “My baby girl is 5,” before a more current image of her at what appeared to be a holiday party, with Kulture wearing a red dress and standing in front of a Christmas town, was added. Once more, he scribbled, “My baby girl.”
And this isn’t the only recent milestone that has given the pair, who were married in 2017 and also have a 22-month-old son named Wave Set Cephus, a reason to celebrate.
At the end of June, Kulture received her pre-kindergarten diploma in a ceremony, prompting Cardi B to brag about her little sister’s scholastic success.
“My baby moving on up,” the rapper captioned on 22 June. “I’m an emotional proud mommy…Give me good grades and I’ll give you the world baby.”
However, Kulture dressed nicely to impress her fellow graduates, wearing a pink glittery dress in addition to her blue cap and gown. The photo also featured pictures of Kulture receiving the “best dance moves” award at graduation, the mother and daughter pair hugging at the ceremony, and an ice cream celebration.
Does this mean that Kulture will follow in the footsteps of her parents and pursue a career in music? Not exactly.
In a clip from the ceremony posted to Cardi’s Instagram Story, telling her classmates, “When I grow up. I want to work in medicine.
“Dr. Cephus,” Cardi B captioned the video.
